piportil injections
dear forum members, i was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia 5 years ago, i,ve had about 4 admissions to hospital. on the last admission iwas diagnosed with this conditioned, however since then they put me on injections of piportil. i also have high blood pressure , because of the piportil injection it has led me to the menopause, which im now taking hrt tablets for . i also take calcium tablets for my bones , this is also due to the piportil injections, so im putting up with quite alot. i would however like to come off piportil injections, the doctors have said that they will put me on tablets. i also work in catering pt, and have 1 child. ive been ok since taking the medication but would like to come off it if possible, the nhs can be quite invasive one it comes to people in in the mental health system. i just dont want anymore injections and hpoefully the medication i take as tablets wont have so many side effects as the injections the doctors have said htat i might relapse if i dont take the tablets, has nyone any ideas about how to look after myself better if iwas to come off injections ,and just take tablets, i dont even like taking all these tablets. but i supposed i have been ok for the last 5 years. this dose,nt help.
